Textbook Errata and Commentary

I shall make any corrections of errors found in the text in this section. I will also offer some commentary on the text. If you think you have found an error please let me know (e-mail) and I will include it here.

Errata and Omissions

• pg. 15 line 3: "generating system" should be "spanning set".
• pg. 21 line 7: "...the planes of P..." should be " ...the hyperplanes of P ... "
• pg. 22 line -6 (6 from the bottom): "... a plane of P/Q" should be "... a line of P/Q".
• pg. 25 line -7: "...a fixed point P equals" should be "...a fixed point P equals".
• pg. 26 line 7: "d-1" should be "d-2" (see lecture notes).
• pg. 28 line 9: "... g || h holds" should be "...B || C holds".
• pg. 30 line 10: typo "alsohave" is "also have".
• pg. 58 line -3: "chain of d" should be "chain of d+1".
• pg. 59 lines 2 & 3: "d-1" should be "d".
• pg. 59 line 12: "ba^-1 " should be "a^-1b".
• pg. 140 line -4: "P and Q" should be "P and R".
• pg. 149 line -4: "(P,Q)" should be "(P,H)".
