Homework Assignments (Spring 2008)

SUDOKU assignment - attempt at least 3 SUDOKU puzzles a week of differing difficulty levels. I will expect to see 45 puzzles by the end of the semester of which no more than 15 should be classified as EASY, and no more than 15 as MODERATE. The puzzles can be found in any daily paper. There are also books of puzzles and web sites which provide free puzzles such as http://sudoku.com.au You should print out the puzzles found on the web even though these websites let you fill out the puzzle on-line.

Readings are from Devlin, Sets, Functions, and Logic: An Introduction to Abstract Mathematics.
