Math 3200 -- Spring 1998

Suggested Reading and Problems

The following table gives a tentative list of topics and reading for the course. There could be changes along the way (that will always be announced in class) if we need to adjust the pace of the course or add material of interest. Also included are recommended problems from the text. You should be working problems continuously throughout the course! They will not be collected or graded, but they can always be discussed in class or office hours. These suggested problems represent a minimum diet. The book has plenty of problems, so don't hesitate to explore unassigned problems. You need to decide when you have worked enough problems to achieve mastery of a topic. Text: Modern Differential Equations, by Abell and Braselton.
