1. Please get an early start on these problems! Do not put them off to the last minute. Ask for help before the assignment is due. I have office hours before and after class in Science 130. 2. Please read Units 3A and 3B of the text. Unit 3C is fun, but optional.

3. Please do the following problems from the text. You must show more than the final answer. In all problems, show your work and the use of units clearly.

• Unit 3A: 4c, 5b, 8c, 10c, 16c, 18c, 20b, 20d.
• Unit 3B: 4b, 4f, 6b, 8b, 15c.
