1. Please be sure you have read Units 2A, 2B,
and
2C of the text all dealing with statistical studies. Unit 2D is related,
interesting, but optional. Actually Unit 2E, dealing with causality, is
also important, particularly if you are philosophically inclined. But we
will have to skip it.
2. Please do the following problems from the text.

2. The American lives in the red house.
3. The Spaniard owns a dog.
4. Coffee is drunk in the green house.
5. The Ukrainian drinks tea.
6. The green house is immediately to the right of the white house.
7. The soccer player owns snails.
8. The polo player lives in the yellow house.
9. Milk is drunk in the middle house.
10. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
11. The person who skis lives next to the person with the fox.
12. The polo player lives in the house next to the house where the horse
is kept.
13. The hiker drinks orange juice.
14. The Japanese surfs.
15. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
