Do not wait until the last minute to start the assignment! It’s best to get an early start and work on it in several steps. Do not hesitate to ask for help before the assignment is due! A. We will now study the extremely important topic of exponential growth. Please read Units 7A and pp 367-371 of Unit 7B.

 

B. Please do the following problems from the book. Remember to show your work, state all assumptions, and please write clearly!

 

Unit 7A: 2a, 2b, 10, 13.

Unit 7B: 2b, 2c, 4b, 5, 6a.

 

Just For Fun:

In one room there are three switches each connected to exactly one of three electric lamps in an adjoining room. What is the fewest number of trips between rooms needed to determine which switch is connected to which lamp?
