Math 2000 Assignment 6

Do not wait until the last minute to start the assignment! It’s best to get an early start and work on it in several steps. Do not hesitate to ask for help before the assignment is due! 1. We will spend a couple of weeks exploring the mathematics of finance: savings accounts, annuities, and loans. Please read Units 4A and 4B.

 

2. Please do the following exercises. This is a minimum recommended dose of exercises. You should work more exercises if you have not mastered the concepts.

 

Unit 4A: 8, 12, 18, 26.

Unit 4B:6, 10

1.         There are five houses in a row, each of a different color, each inhabited by people of different nationalities with different pets, drinks and sports.
