Math 2000 Assignment 3

Do not wait until the last minute to start the assignment! It’s best to get an early start and work on it in several steps. Do not hesitate to ask for help before the assignment is due! Office hours are on Mondays and Wednesdays immediately before and after class in Science 132, Tuesdays 11-1:00 in CU 611, or by arrangement. Email also works at wbriggs@math.cudenver.edu.

 

1. We will finish Units 2A and 2B of the book and then move on to Chapter 3. Please read the important Unit 3A.

 

3. Please do the following exercises. You must show the use of units clearly!! This is a minimum recommended dose of exercises. Don’t hesitate to work more exercises if you have not mastered the concepts.

 

Unit 2A: 15d

Unit 2B: 2c, 2g, 4d, 8c

Unit 3A: 4a, 6a, 12, 16
