Office hours: CU Bldg 640, Monday 3:00-3:45 Wednesday 2:00-3:45
Prerequisites: Numerical analysis, programming in C or C++
We
will learn how to use the new Beowulf cluster that is being installed,
the basics of design and implementation of numerical algorigthms in this
environment, and the elements of MPI and PETSC. The class will use
Internet resources. There is no textbook. Each student will complete a
computer project.
