CCM's History
Created in the fall of 1992 to formalize the Computational Math Group that had been created in 1985, the Center for
Computational Math (CCM) at UC Denver is a broad-based response to the rapid and dramatic changes in the various
fields of computation.
CCM Directors:
- Jan Mandel, 1992-1993
- Roland Sweet, Spring 1994
- Tom Russell, 1994-1996
- Leo Franca, 1996-1999
- Andrew Knyazev, 1999-2000
- Jan Mandel, 2000-present
The CCM Executive Committee was established by revised
bylaws, adopted in 2001.
The past CCM excutive committees are:
- 2001-2002: Harvey Greenberg, Leo Franca, Lynn Bennethum, Sam Welch, Tom Russell
- 2002-2003: Lynn Bennethum, Leo Franca, Harvey Greenberg, Todd Minehardt, Sam Welch
- 2003-2004: Steve Billups, Krys Cios, Andrew Knyazev, Mark Fitzgerald, Todd Minehardt
