Van Emden Henson, a CU-Denver graduate (MS, 1988;  PhD, 1990), and currently the Group Leader of the Numerical Methods Group in the Center for Applied Scientific Computing at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, will present a short overview of the type of research conducted in Scientific Computing at LLNL.  The Computation directorate is seeking qualified applicants at the BS, MS, and PhD levels in several areas: Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Computational Physics, and Engineering.

 

After the presentation Van will be available for one-on-one discussions with interested individuals.  Sign-up will occur at the presentation; time allotted for individuals will depend on the number of interested people.
