Installation Instructions

1. Open Excel
2. Click Tools
3. In the Tools menu, click  Add-Ins
4. If the Solver Add-In is not listed in the Add-Ins dialog box, click Browse and locate the drive, folder, and file name for solver.xla, which is the add-in program for the Excel solver.  Usually this file is located in the Library\Solver folder.  (For example, on my computer, it is in the directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Library\Solver.  If you can't find the file, you can download it from the following links:  (right click on these links and then click on "Save Link As" to download these files to the above directory).
1.  solver.xla
2.  solver.dll
Once you have the two files above downloaded, repeat the above steps.  You should now see the Solver Add-In listed in the Add-Ins dialog box.
5. In the Add-Ins dialog box, select the Solver Add-in check box.
